diary

I woke up at 7 o'clock. Unbelievable in Tokyo. HAHAHA.
We walked around the town to have breakfast, but most restrants were closed: they open at 9 o'clock on Saturdays. So we bought some sandwiches in Starbucks. Why on earth we have to go to Starbucks in London? It cost me about 5 pounds (about 1000 yen). Why on earth we have to pay so much money for simple breakfast?
We checked-out the hotel and took a train to Horse Guards. There was a soldier changing ceremony at 11 o'clock. The ceremony was simple, but this was a good experience, since we cannot see something like this in Japan.
Then we went to Trafalgar Square, where exists the monument of Mr.Nelson.
After having lunch, we took a natinoal railway train to Worthing, where our high-school teacher, G, was born. His father suddenly spoke to me at the station, "aete344920 san desuka?"
At the house, we had a British tea ceremony. Tea with milk and cucumber sandwiches were very good.
Then we went on a drive around the town. We went to a pub, and drank beer, ate crisps (potato chips). I don't like beer, but this beer was easy to drink.
The mother cooked a nice dinner. The chicken and vegetables were very good. We ate so much.
We had a marvellous day thanks to them.
