We overslept. We failed to do anything before noon.
We went to the Tower of Eiffel again, where the lunch cruise ship departs. We reserved for the "premier course", so the seat and the meal were best in the ship. What I ate are listed below. All of them was fantastic. I am sorry that I don't have enough vocabulary to express how the dishes were. We also drank a lot of wine. According to the President, the white wine named "Syaburi" is very expensive in Japan. We were allowed to drink one bottle of "Syaburi", and another bottle of red wine, named "Fronsac". I drank too much, so the world looked a little bit different from the usual. We were both very content with the cruise.
Then we went to the Notre Dame Church. By the time we got to thew church, I became sober, fortunately. It was so huge a building. We climbed many many steps to get to the top of the church. That made us very tired.
Before we go back to the hostel, we stopped at the La Salle church in Pasteur. We joined a mass there. I had never joined a mass before, and I couldn't understand what the people were saying (of course in French) at all. I thought that when I go back to my hometown next time, I should join a mass.
By the way, beverage bottles in Europe have the unit of "cl" to show the volume of the bottle. We had been wondering what it meant, but tonight I noticed what it stands for; "centi litter". In Japan, we use "litter" or "mili litter", but never "centi litter". It is one of the interesting differences of culture.
In Paris, there are many people shouting in the metro. We saw three people yelling out something in only two days. I suppose that there is something which flustrates people in Paris.
